About DJ Modena (English)
Wesley Jonker alias Modena is a 26 years old DJ, born and raised in Haarlem The Netherlands. Modena started spinning when he was 10 years old. He was always busy with his music and at that time his great inspiration was Dj Jean who had a big hit with ''Get ready for the launch''. He bought a lot of his records and also other Dj's had his attention like Hardwell with his cd Eclectic beats. He started spinning by playing with the knobs on his Sony radio. When his Parents saw his great interest in mainly house music they bought a Skytek dj gear for his 10th birthday. But soon he discovered that this was not enough to follow his passion and so he bought 2 Vinyl turntables and soon after that his first Pioneer cdj 1000 dj set and the 2000 nexus. In this way he developed the passion for music.
At the moment he is mainly known for his energetic way of mixing and interaction with his audience. House, Deep house and Tech house (Techno) and Funky/Groovy house is what you can expect when you attend one of his gigs.
In 2014 after sending in one of his mixes, his hard work pays off and he starts spinning the decks at Crazyland, Full Moon, Crazy Wonderland (Pleasure Island), beach party's and private parties.

Wesley Jonker alias Modena is een 26 jarige DJ, geboren en getogen in Haarlem. Modena is begonnen met draaien op 10 jarige leeftijd. Hij is continu bezig met muziek met als grote voorbeeld en inspiratie in die tijd DJ Jean met als grote hit ''get ready for the launch''. Hij kocht cd's van hem maar ook andere DJ's waaronder Eclectic beats van de nu wereld beroemde DJ Hardwell. het draaien begon bij het draaien van de knopjes op zijn Sony radio. Toen zijn ouders merkte dat hij veel met voornamelijk House muziek bezig was kochten zij, voor zijn 10e verjaardag een Skytek dj gear. Toen Modena er achter kwam dat dit niet genoeg was om zijn passie te beoefenen kwamen er al snel vinyl draaitafels aan te pas en achtereenvolgend de pioneer cdj 1000 dj set tot aan de 2000 nexus. Zo ontwikkelde Modena zijn passie voor het maken en mixen van house muziek.

Hij staat hedendaags bekend om zijn energieke manier van mixen en zijn interactie met het publiek. House, Deep house, Techhouse (techno) en Funky/Groovy House beats is wat je kunt verwachten tijdens zijn sets.

Vanaf 2014 na het inzenden van 1 van zijn mixen word zijn inzet beloond en begint Modena met draaien op feesten als Crazyland, Full Moon, Crazy Wonderland (voormalig Pleasure Island), verschillende strand feesten en prive feesten.
